The Story

In 2022, a husband and wife sat at their kitchen table, surrounded by sticky notes and a bottle of wine, dreaming out loud. “I want to create a space where we can bring our ideas to life,” the husband said. “Yes,” the wife replied, “somewhere by the sea—or maybe a bay.” And just like that, DreamBay was born.

By 2023, DreamBay had become an official production company with a clear mission: to tell meaningful, emotionally resonant stories through film—and to help small businesses craft story-driven content for their social platforms. The husband led as Director of Photography, editor, and colorist. The wife took the reins as producer, performer, and strategist. Together, they poured their hearts into every script, every frame, every moment.

Then, everything changed. The husband passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind unfinished projects, mounting business debt, and a dream that suddenly felt impossible to carry alone.

Soon after becoming a widow, the wife’s 16-year career as a Federal employee came to an end through the Deferred Resignation Program under the Trump Administration. With her world upended, she found herself consumed by grief, fear, and uncertainty. But through God, therapy and the relentless love of family and friends, she began to heal.

When her spirit was restored, a new vision emerged—one that honored the past while embracing the future. She created Creatique (kree-ay-teek).

At Creatique, we believe the greatest gift we can give the world is to create something meaningful. Whether it’s crafting a script that moves hearts, building a project plan that keeps work on track, or assembling a film crew to spotlight a small business, we bring strategy, intention, and soul to everything we do. With experience in both media production and project management, Creatique is where storytelling meets structure—and ideas come to life.
